  • Yes, this is quite a problem as many blocks have margins set that you cannot access easily.

Here is a thread I started trying to track down just how to find it as I work to make my own custom Theme:

    https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/how-is-the-global-block-gap-set/

I inspected your page and the element you are looking at has a 24px margin on it (just like in my thread).

You will have to set a class to the block and then use CSS to change the margin. There are other ways, but as you see in my thread above, I am still working it out. For now, I use CSS with two classes: NoMargin and NoPadding. The latter comes in handy when blocks of content get backgrounds applied and that forces the padding to change (in this theme, it is theme dependent).

    Hi,
    Thanks.
Nice to know I’m not the only one ??

Do you think that in the next release a new setting for each block margins will be added to the editor?

You mentioned I should add a new CSS class to such a block – right?
I’m not working with a child theme and I’m wondering if such CSS class will get overwritten in the next update or is it safe so do it or should I convert everything to a child theme?

I added the NoMargin CSS to the relevant block and created the new CSS the Customizing -> Additional CSS

    Thanks again for your help!

I would go with Child Theme or use a plug-in like CSS Site Origin. There are other methods but this is easiest!

I figured out how to change this globally. It’s in a follow-up post to my original link above.

    Thanks @saturn3 !
I hope that in future releases there will be a way to control the block margin via the template / site editor without the need to add custom CSS or to edit the JSON file.
    Any way – Thanks!

    Same problem!

I try with designed layouts and modify them, but I wish that margin-padding there will be an option in future releases (and soon, please!) ??

This theme and concept will be the future.

    The club-24px gets bigger ?? Here’s a concrete solution: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/spacing-between-blocks-4/#post-15598642 to the 2022-theme glitch.
