    Hi, this is something I’ll look into in a future version. The plugin did once do this but there were so many compatibility issues because of bugs in themes that in the end it was easier to move it to the header.

    Just an aside FYI that isn’t a bug, it’s just a warning. Your call if you prefer to disable it of course! ??

    I’m aware of that, thanks. But if Google says site speed matters for ranking … and it adds that this js in the header is slowing my site down, I’m not in a position to say, “Stuff you, Google!”

    Hi StanLight, did you find an alternative? Can you share? I’m looking at using a cookie plugin and the page speed impact is an important factor for me.

    RichardAshby. The plugin is great. Clean and Simple. I am/was using this plugin, but busy rebuilding my site and reevaluating what plugins to use.

    I have a pretty good beta of the new version which runs the script in the footer. Still some work to do on it though but I’ll post an update on the release date once it’s ready.
