    Thanks for the plugin!

I have an issue with my cart page. When someone purchases two of the same item, shipping simply doubles, whereas, the actual shipping cost from USPS should remain the same. How can I fix this?

Example: Item A is priced at $20. Wights 4oz. Local shipping for that is $2.64. If someone purchases two of Item A, the shipping cost still should be the same since the weight does not exceed the standard USPS First Class mail limit. But the plugin doubles the shipping cost, and charges $5.28.

I would like to have the shipping cost calculation to be accurate since multiple items bought by the same person ships in the same package.

    Please advise.

    Hi @emilyvinoadmin,

We are looking into smart ways to automatically figure this type of thing out, but in the meantime, I believe you can work around this problem by avoiding the use of “pack items individually” for your packing method option.

You will then need to create a package that fits the requirements of first class mail. If your multiple items fit into the package, we’ll then request postage for the package and not the individual items.

    I hope this helps!

    Hello @emilyvinoadmin,

Are you still seeing your shipping cost multiply with the item quantity? Are you using the “When cheaper, pack multiple items in a single package.” option?

If you’re already using the “pack multiple items” option, we’ll likely need some more information in order to help.

Can you share the dimensions of the items you’re getting rates for, and what packaging you’re expecting them to all fit in?

    Thanks for your patience.
