    What do you mean the shortcode doesn’t work? What happens when you use the shortcode? Do you see the shortcode in the post or do you just see no posts at all? Have you disabled other plugins to make sure it isn’t a plugin conflict or switched to a different theme to make sure it isn’t a theme issue?

    I’ve managed to make it work. Now the problem is that the image is distorted. I’m trying to be displayed in a similar way to https://espaebook.com

    The image shouldn’t be distorted unless your theme is changing the dimensions. Try changing the setting for Book Cover Image to the 6:9 standard aspect ratio for book covers and see if that fixes it.
