• Hi All, I am trying to remove ads from my blog https://blog.merchantcashfinder.com and I am stuck. I have the blog set up on my own server so I believe I’m in the right place…

I know the .org service is free for wordpress but I also remember an option to remove ads for a fee…is this possible?? Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Danny

  • Where are the ads? Or am I blind?

You have a www.ads-software.com blog = you can do whatever you want. But show me the Ads!

Hi Diane and thanks for responding, the ads show up when you view a specific post…check out this link https://blog.merchantcashfinder.com/?p=246

    Thanks,
    Danny

Well I don’t do adds but here is my guess.

The adds came with your Theme. Many “Free” Themes do that to you. Try switching to the Default or 2010 Theme and see if the adds go away. That will tell you if it is a Theme issue.

The “upgrade for no adds” is only for sites hosted on WordPress.COM a free blogging service. Self hosted www.ads-software.com sites are not related. So if someone tries to sell you an upgrade for your .ORG they are probably scamming you unless it is a paid version of a Theme and they are taking THEIR adds out.

www.ads-software.com has 1,200 free Themes here with no adds.

I see, thank you so much for pointing me in the right direction!

Ok. Did you look at your single.php file? The code for the ads should be in there. Have a look and tell me if you see any code in there that include “google”. These are Google Adsense ads. You should be able to delete that code from single.php
