How can I remove Subject Field from the form?

    Hi…
    BestWebSoft…

    I have uploaded your contact form plugin in my website in my local pc.
    Now my requirement is to remove Subject field from that contact form.

    I have tried to remove that field from the form, and get success to remove that field from the form..

    Now my problem is started…
    After removing that Subject Field from the form, I tried to submit the form, but it is not working well.

    Mails are not sending from the form.
    It gives an error like, something is required in form, check what is needed…

    So, can you help me to remove Subject Field from the form and also I get form working well for sending mail…

    Hello,

    You can make the Subject field optional. To do this:

    1) Please go to settings page, open the block ‘Additional options’.
    2) Unmark the checkbox in the ‘Subject’ field in the ‘Required’ block and click ‘Save the changes’.

    However, please note that if you deleted the ‘Subject’ field by editing contact_form.php file in wp-content/plugins/contact-form-plugin, all changes will be lost after the next plugin update.

    Thanks for reply back to me with solution..

    In between I also tried to remove that field from contact_form.php file form the folder..

    And remove totally code related to the Subject field…

    Then try to send mail, it works perfect…
    Sending mail work perfect…
    Also thanks to you for reply…

    And let me tell, your suggested solution from Additional Fields to uncheck the Subject Field and save changes, not removing field from the form…

    But it need to make changes (remove totally code of Subject field) in contact_form.php file of plugin…
