    I’m using Customify theme.
I don’t want the default site sidebar to be displayed. In Basepress settings, I can manage the KB sidebar.
In the theme settings, I’m supposed to be able to manage the default sidebar. I’ve configured to have no sidebar on standard pages and KB pages. I actually have no sidebar on standard pages, but I can’t remove it from KB pages. Is there anything I’m missing ?

Here’s how to hide the sidebar from the plugin.

    wp-admin > basepress > settings > appearance > Default Sidebar Position > None

Select none as your default sidebar position option and it will disappear.

Hi. Thanks for your quick reply.

I’ve already tinkered with this setting and it does not solve the problem for all cases. Actually, it does not solve the problem at all, since it controls the KB sidebar, which is not the problem, as I said in my original post.

The problem is the theme sidebar. I can manage this sidebar in the theme customization, but only for single KB articles. Not the other pages, which rely on archive template. If I want to disable the theme sidebar in the KB, I have to disable it on blog archive pages, which I do not want. This means, if I want the theme sidebar with a menu on the blog articles list, I must have it on the KB. Which I do not want.

I can’t figure out a way to solve this problem. I guess the KB should use its own archive template whereas it relies on the blog archive template.
