How Can I Restore Backup Data?

  • My blog was recently hacked,after restoring it I decided to use WordPress Security Plugin and enabled data backup. Days ago my host suspended my site saying it is sending spam messages and Google has suspended the ip address. I have waited to see if they could later release the site but no help. I decicided to change hosting to bluehost. I have succeeded in transfering the host but I don’t know how to use the data backup that this plugin sends to my email daily to restore my blog. Pls I need help urgently. The site is danaty.org

    I’m afraid to tell you, this plugin only backup the database, for migrating to another webhost you need both database and files backups.

    Try to contact the old hosting company, if they can give you a full backup of the website. Or contact Bluehost, most web hosting companies have feature to transfer all of your data (both files and database) from your older hosting, if the both using same CPanel software.

    i have the file backup and the databse backup, could someone tell me how to restore the database? i still getting the database connection error, i have checked before my wp-config file and it is okay, please help
