It is already set up to be a static page. I tried setting it up as it instructs on that page & it still puts the intro it in the middle with the rest of the website around it. So I put it back due to I don’t want people going to the website and finding it not working.

The only choice I have for the Page Attributes is the default or one column not side bar. It says to enable “permalinks”,I have mine set up as custom structure so I am not sure if that is what it means.

So I am not sure what I am doing wrong, because it didn’t work.

Create a custom page template and apply it to your site’s front page.

Thanks for the info. I found this, but my problem is I really don’t know php. I am not sure what I need to input in the custom template to have it open the intro. Right now I have the Intro written in html.

    thanks

See the link I gave above.

I actually found a way to make it work. I took my intro html and just renamed as front-page.php and inserted that into the template then created a intro page that is completely blank and marked that as my opening page. Works just like I wanted it to https://jds-productions.com/
