• Our foundation is a happy user of MailPoet. However, our hosting provider is quite evil and likes to disrupt our sending out a very modest mailing list by blocking access to the mail service after a few dozen emails.

So my question is: how can I make MailPoet send at a snail’s pace?

I don’t care if it takes 24 hours to send email to 140 subscribers (i.e. one email every ten minutes). All I want is reliable delivery I can trust to complete without problems.

Please don’t tell me to go to a professional newsletter provider. Our user data is precious to us and to our subscribers, we are not giving that to any 3rd party.

  • Hi there!

It is not necessary to switch providers to fix that ??

The easiest way to fix it is by activating the MailPoet Sending Service on WP-Admin > MailPoet > Settings > Send With. This way, your newsletters will be sent by our own servers, not by your hosting provider.

If you want to stick to your current sending method, you can set its frequency on WP-Admin > MailPoet > Settings > Send With > Other > Sending Frequency.
