How can I speed up Ai1ec?

I have been working on web site optimization (for speed) on my site, naturecoaster.com, and have found that Ai1ec is literally taking 10-11 seconds to load, slowing the site down that much.

Is there a solution? I love your plugin and hate to move to another, so PLEASE help me find a way to speed it up so I can keep its beauty and functionality.
