How can I tell if cache is working on the site?

  • I’ve added the “define (‘ENABLE_CACHE’,true);” line to my WP-Config.php file and dropped it into my live site, but when I browse the cache directory there are no files in there.

    How can I tell if the caching is working (or even enabled) correctly or not?

    btw.. before anyone suggests it I’ve already confirmed that the ‘cache’ folder has been CHMOD 777’d correctly… but I’m still no wiser as to whether or not caching is actually taking place.
