How Can I Upload My Header in WP

  • Hi,
    I’ve updated my WP to 4.3.1 but now I do not see where or how to upload a new header/banner for my site. All that is there at the moment, is my domain….which is https://www.alexandramcallister.com

    Before, we could click and add a header/image…Now, can’t see where to do this.

    My site was hacked a couple of weeks ago so still working on recovering and updating posts etc.

  • you should be able to upload a header banner via Appearance -> Customize BUT, this is different for every theme.

    Each theme manages header images in their own way so pinpointing how yours is uploaded is challenging

    I was able to do this before but not now. The only option in that area are: Site Identity, Menus, Widget & Static Front Page. For now, I’ve “hidden” my site until I can hopefully figure this out. I have Thesis 7 installed right now.

    If anyone has Thesis 7….please let me know. Thanks so much.
