How can I upload videos?

I am not the plugin support person, but I am a developer and familiar Activity Plus, it does not have that functionality. You either have to install another plugin such as Media Press https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/mediapress/ or rtMedia https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/buddypress-media/

however, I’m already using this plugin and the pages already have the posts with shortcode. So I feel it’s better if atleast I could tweak certain settings and make this avail, that would be great. I’ve tried other plugins, but not out of the box as this one.

I am using Activity Plus on my site as well as the two plugins that I mentioned above for uploading media. I use rtMedia for uploading because it uploads everything like photo’s, video’s etc, and I use mediapress for organizing the uploaded pictures and it has a nice gallery component built in, but I did have to modify the plugin through code to customize it to work with my website.

I’m afraid this is true. Video posting accepts only external URLs and another plugin should be used for video uploading, just like @naomibuch mentioned.
