  • If your ucommerce site is installed at example.com, you can simply install your WordPress blog at example.com/blog/ or blog.example.com. The two can live side-by-side with no issues.

Thanks for the answer. And sorry for the late reply. Does it also work if I get the software from https://ucommerce.us/ instead of https://ucommerce.net/

From a quick look at the two sites, it appears ucommerce.us is the hosted (or done-for-you) version of the software, while ucommerce.net is the downloadable or DIY version (not unlike WordPress.com vs www.ads-software.com).

And, yeah, my previous advice still applies https://ucommerce.us/ … with one caveat:

You can only have your WordPress blog at blog.example.com, since you’d have to “hand over” example.com to the Ucommerce.us folks and https://example.com/anything can only be served by them.

Also, you’d have to play a little DNS voodoo with your domain name to get both services running, but I’m hoping that at $10,000/year there will be ample support for you (or you’d be able to pay a 3rd-party to handle it for you if this is not in your alley).

Cheers and Godspeed with your project!
