How can I include backticks in a post?

That doesn’t work. In the following example, “dfdfg” is treated as code because between two backticks. Moreover, I also want to use backticks in normal text.

<pre>`</pre>
dfdfg
<pre>`</pre>

WordPress does not do backticks around code like that. That’s these forums only.

Then it’s probably Crayon (plugin).
