  • Well, a local installation is seen by… local machine. That’s all. You have to put it on the internet = meaning: have a host, a domain and upload and install there.

Even if it is going to be seen on a intranet and other people in my department
https://10.50.20.xxx the address of my pc
    they get forbidden access

What sort of permissions have you set in your httpd.conf file?

Truthfully, server setup locally/intranet isn’t something we get into here very much. You’d be better advised to search google for sites which can help with this.

I just followed the defaults for wamp installation so I am not sure what part of httpd.conf you need, I thought that if other people in my department would just have put in my pc name or ip address and they would be able to see it. I believe that they are getting to the webpage but just don’t have permission to view it. I have look at google but I couldn’t find anything that looked like my issue. I didn’t know if it was file access but I thought that wamp my have taken care of permissions.

I can’t help you with wamp. I only use xampp, and I don’t use it on a LAN. You probably need to talk to your sysadmin. As I said, we don’t really have the ability to deal with server setup.
