How Can Someone Follow My Post

    Is there something I’m missing so that someone can follow my posts? There don’t seem to be any good widgets so I’m hoping this is built in. I have the Adventurous theme.

  • The most simple solution is probably to use the Subscriptions module in the Jetpack plugin. https://jetpack.me/support/subscriptions/

    That being said, I’m a fan of using purpose built tools. Mailchimp is a good free service that will scale well if your blog becomes really popular, and it’s not very difficult to put a signup form on your site.

    Thanks Matt. I was hoping there was another solution only because Jetpack used so many resources and made my site run so much slower. I might just have to bite the bullet and activated it again. I was hoping there’s another solution and I’m not techie enough to add a form.

    Honestly Mailchimp makes adding a form pretty easy. They provide you all the code, and you just paste it into a text widget. I’d definitely encourage you to try it out. Mailchimp is free, so you don’t lose anything by trying. ??
