    Hello,

    We really like your plugin.

How do we make this dashboard message quit appearing?

PDF Light Viewer Plugin Pro: requirements are met, happy using!

It needs a DISMISS link or something so it does not appear after the 1st time or after the user selects for it to NOT appear again.

    Thanks

    Hello @soobahkdo,

It should be automatically dismissed after first time. If it doesn’t then I believe there could be some PHP error. If you can, please share erro_log (send it to [email protected]) so we could investigate.

    Hello antongorodezkiy,

Debug bar reports no errors and the error logs have no mention of PDF Light Viewer in them.

Perhaps the admin messages should have a dismiss button added to it in the next release and that button can FORCE dismissal for those who have the same problem I am encountering.

A number of other plugins with admin dashboard messages include a dismiss icon/button/link on the message.

Nothing I have tried will make the message dismiss.

    What do we do next?

    That’s is strange.
The issues is not in the button. The notification is forced to show only once.
However, we’ll research the issue and check the logic there – probably it could be improved to fix issues of that kind. This change will be included in the next release if we could reproduce the issue on our side.

    Hello antongorodezkiy,

Would it help you to have access credentials for one of the subsites on our network where the issue in present?

If so, how do I send them to you?

    Thanks,

    Hello antongorodezkiy,

The issue is still present in the update v 1.24 and PRO .05

Removing line 65 in PRO AdminController.php eliminates the admin dashboard message.

The if/then/else statement in AdminController.php does not seem to have any associated logic built in to hide the admin message after 1st display. It seems to be telling it to display all the time if requirements are met.

A manual dismiss button on the admin notice would be fine with me, but even that needs to be coded in.

    Looking forward to a fix.

    Thanks.
