How can we see the previous date statistics?

Thanks for getting in touch @gregthegreg5. Currently there are options to view data up to the previous 90 days using the reporting period selector option on the Site Kit dashboard. To view older metrics, users can click on the “Source: Analytics” link, and select different reporting periods from analytics.google.com.

While there is no option for the previous year within Site Kit at present, you may wish to follow the below issue on the Site Kit GitHub repository, where the option to display a full calendar to choose custom dates was discussed:

Just to be sure, if we view the statistics within google analytics (and not site kit), can they be viewed from any date or is there a certain time limit that the stats for a specific website can be viewed?

Good question. As I don’t want to give you any incorrect information, I would advise asking the product experts over at the Analytics Help Center about this. There is a guide I located referring to data retention in GA4 which may be of use.
