How can we stop core files fp

  • Hwcan I stop core files formation as they arte useless and occupy my account space, I run many wordpress site, some form core files and some don’t, please help?
    The hosting company says it is a script problem, I use the latest version with no use, please help me?

    Does the issue persist with all plugins deactivated and the Twenty Fourteen/ Fifteen theme active?

    If you mean files like core.3545654645554, that’s a hosting server issue. It means that something has gone horribly wrong with the server and it’s dumped the memory to that file for later debugging.

    The first thing to do is look at the error log of your site/s and see what they say. Fix what ever erorrs you can from that, and see if that helps. if it doesn’t, talk to your hosting company and ask them to tell you what errors are causing those core dumps. If they can’t help you it might be time to switch hosts.
