Hmm.. Good question, right now, you can only make your group display:block or dispay:inline.

Display:block is the default because groups resolve to divs. To make it display:inline you should change the group to a span. You can to this by adding the inline attribute to a group, like this: [group my-group inline]

I guess it makes sense to give more control over the groups. I’m opening a github issue for this here: https://github.com/pwkip/contact-form-7-conditional-fields/issues/83
