How can you enable 3D secure?

    Hi,
    I’ve been using this plugin for couple years in Japan.

    I wonder the 3D secure is already enable or not.
    Do you need some set up for enable it?
    So please tell me how to set up the 3D secure.

    Hi @eijim!

    3D Secure is a feature that needs to be enabled by the card issuer in order to add an extra layer of authentication before validating a payment. It is not something that can be “forced” from the WooCommerce Stripe extension.

    If the card/bank the customer is transacting from requires 3D Secure authentication, WooCommerce Stripe will show the 3D Secure authentication modal.

    For testing with test mode, authenticating with a 3D Secure scenario follow the instructions on the Stripe support page:
