How combine categories of the events and posts with the same name?

Hi everybody! I installeted plugin The Events Calendar to my site, create an event in category success and checked checkbox “Include events in main blog loop” in parameters of the plugin.
I expected that the events would be shown together with the posts of the same category success, but category of the events and category of the posts are different, don’t include each other and shown separately.
How can I combine categories of the events and posts with the same name, such as success in one together, could anybody told me?
