How come pages and posts are missing after reinstall?

    My site was hacked. So I wiped the slate clean except for my files on the database and the uploads and stuff I backed up. Now the site is back up and looks good, except all the pages I created are gone. Also, when you click on the posts, it takes you to an error page.

    What else needs to be uploaded? I have old files backed up.

    I called my host(1and1) and they wrote a ‘.htacess’ file and had be upload it.

    Now it works.
