Yes, this should look like this.
Now please make sure that your image/media id (see step #5 at Step-by-Step instruction) is defined properly; also here attachment_<strong>5</strong>

    Sorry for formatting:

    Hi,

Thanks. I redid all the steps again, and this time I added a caption word in step 4, “Hello”. The caption code you mentioned earlier then appeared in edit post/ text so that it now looks like this:

    [caption id="attachment_769" align="alignnone" width="233"]<a href="https://www.densaboterandeekorren.se/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/Screen-Shot-2015-03-05-at-4.16.18-PM.png"><img class="size-medium wp-image-769" src="https://www.densaboterandeekorren.se/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/Screen-Shot-2015-03-05-at-4.16.18-PM-233x300.png" alt="Hello" width="233" height="300" /></a> Hello[/caption]

    The ID is correct.

In the edit post/ visual view the photo appears but only with the caption “Hello” below, there is no credit tracker caption showing.
When visiting my website the credit tracker caption is visible though. The box around the image is much wider than the image itself, and the captions are center aligned in the box whereas the image is left-aligned (i.e. a lot of empty box space in the center and to the left). Also, the caption links are not clickable.

    What to do now?

    Hi,

Thank your for this tipp = >we’ll include this in the FAQ.
Now your shortcode can be rendered on the website.

    1. to change alignment please use caption shortcode attributes; valid values are: alignnone, aligncenter, alignright, align left
You can also define custom class and apply your own style.

    2. you can use HTML tags in the Copyright format (see step #2); please try following format:
    ? <a href="%link%">%author%</a>

    Best Regards,
    Labs64

    Hi,

    1. That seemed to work, thanks!
    2. I tried the format and it came out on the website as the below caption:
    ? author1
Nothing in the caption is clickable.

    What to do now?

    Thanks,

    jennie

Would it be possible that you’ll share some screenshots how it looks like:
    – your Credit Tracker configuration (especially format string)
    – rendered image with caption

    via info @?labs64.com

…. or maybe you can even share test webpage itself.

    Thank you & Best Regards,
