    I second the ask.
Please, how to uninstall this plugin without messing up my install?

    *Installs plugin*

OK that’s weird. Really, really really weird and I am seeing the same thing in Chrome.

    *Looks closer*

    Try this:

    https://your-wordpress-URL/wp-admin/plugins.php?s=adsense

That returns 1 item but nothing is viewable in Chrome. The CSS id “google-adsense” is set to “display: none” so that’s what is hiding the entire section in your plugins page including the option to uninstall it.

After looking in the plugin itself I can’t find where that’s being added.

Try using Firefox. I just did that and I can see the plugin for uninstalling.

    Hi,

It is unclear how it can be – “he don’t appear in list of installed plugins.”
Did any errors occur during the installation?

You can delete a plugin via ftp or cpanel —-> With your FTP program or via Сpanel go to wp-content/plugins folder and remove
adsense-plugin folder. Please make use of the following information:

Nope. In Chrome the section in the plugin page for your plugin is suffering from “display: none;” as I have described above. In Firefox the problem does not seem to exist.

Can you modify your plugin’s CSS to use a different CSS ID? You can see how this could easily be misconstrued given that your plugin dedicates an entire settings page to advertising your other plugins. ??

Yes. But that really should not be necessary at all.

Uninstalling via FTP might be not a good idea for your WP installation. WP has been built to NOT have to use FTP again. Why forcing people going back to FTP when going back to FTP takes longer than a couple of clicks ? Plus, WP uses to put entries in the database about installed plugins. Removing files and not the DB entries of the plugin itself might be harmful for the WP installation.

Thank you, Jan, for the info. I indeed checked on Firefox and i found the plugin (while it still doesn’t appear in Chrome) and i could uninstall it properly.

It is clearly a glitch affecting the plugin on Google Chrome installations. (else, it would appear like in Firefox.
