The screenshots show an image next to the event info on the List View. How did you get that to happen?! I was able to add an image to the event detail page, but the spacing was awful. One line sat next to the image, then the rest dropped below the image. I tried adding a table, but that just adds a border, even when I try to over ride it! Gaaah! If adding a photo is custom, then you might consider not showing it in the screen shots. If it’s easy, then please let me know! WooHoo!

  • Hi aaadesign,

I think you are not using the featured image option provided in the event edit page.

When you create a new event page just look right sidebar bottom and there you will find a “featured image” option. Just upload your image there and this will work.

@hozefasmile – thanks, that was exactly what I was looking for!

Hi folks. Any ideas on how to make the featured image show at its uploaded resolution? It seems to want to make the featured image HUGE, and I just want a tiny image showing on each event (logo of the event sponsor). I’m open to any suggestions.

    Thank you –

Glad you got that working aaadesign!

Howdy MJTDI3,you can accomplish that with a theme override. This guide walks you through creating them: https://tri.be/support/documentation/events-calendar-themers-guide/ It certainly requires a knowledge of PHP and WP APIs though. You would want to override the single events page to include a different thumbnail, maybe ‘large’ or a custom size. References for that can of course be found in the WP Codex. I hope that helps! If you need further assistance from the community here, please open a new topic. We try to keep topics to one issue/one user whenever possible. Cheers!

    Hi everyone,

I’ve uploaded my image like Hozefa said, but the text is still below… How can it be like on the screenshots ?

    Hi navis30,

If your image is showing above the text in List View, it’s probably something to do with your theme. You might try switching the stylesheet that you’re using under Events –> Settings –> Display and see if that makes a difference.

Have you tried deactivating other plugins to look for a conflict, or switching to a default theme like Twenty Twelve? If you need help, please read this guide to testing for conflicts.

If you can isolate this as an issue that’s inherent to The Events Calendar, we’d be happy to look into it further. Unfortunately, we can’t help troubleshoot conflicts here on the free forum. If you do find a conflict, you can try getting in touch with the developer of the theme or plugin and see if they can shed some light on the issue.

    Best,

Hi Leah, thanks for the help !
I think it’s a conflict with the theme so I’m gonna ask the question to the developer of this theme.
    Best regards !
