  • This plugin does not send “fail login email notifications”.
    Wrong plugin/forum?

+++++ To prevent any confusion, I’m not iThemes +++++

I get a notification for every failed admin login attempt from this plugin. I don’t understand how to disable plugin notifications about unsuccessful attempts to enter the admin panel.

Are you referring to lockout emails ?

    Screenshot ?

Still in the dark here …

Yes, a have many notification, here is a screenshot of such notifications https://ibb.co/z2bLFcC

Ah, ok. It’s about a temporary user lockout.

Could be a symptom of a brute force attack.

Anyway, to disable the Site Lockout Notification email navigate to:

Security > Settings > Notifications > Site Lockouts

If enabled untick the Enabled checkbox and then click on the Save All button.

I have this error Default Recipients[user_list] must contain at least 1 item

    Screenshot this error https://ibb.co/27nx1Jj

That is a known bug, which probably prevents you from saving the notification settings.

According to the iTSec Pro 7.1.0 Changelog (2022-01-31):

Bug Fix: Allow saving Notifications when “default recipients must contain at least 1 item” error is present.

So this bug is (probably) expected to be fixed in the next free iTSec plugin release. Unfortunaly at this point in time the release date is unknown.

    Understood thanks!

    Hello @evilgazz,

Could you try re-installing the iThemes Security plugin to see if that resolves the Default Recipients[user_list] must contain at least 1 item issue?
