How display total followers?

    Hi, I cannot get the Display total Followers Count to show. I can only get “false” to show correctly. Is it working for anyone else and I’m missing something?

    WordPress version: 6.2.2
    PHP version: 7.4.28 & 8.0.25
    Occurring on multisite
