    Hi,

I recently isntalled your plugin and I’m thinking on purchasing the extention to export the backups to a Google Drive account. I did my first backup and it went just fine, the result was a file *.wpress.

I rather having a compress folder with the files and database backup. Is there a way to extract the files and database backup from that *.wpress file without having to import all that through your plugin on another WordPress installation?

Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hi

You can preview wpress content with https://traktor.servmask.com/

    Hi

The online service is OK, but when you have backups that are 2 or 3GB’s it’s not practical to upload that file to an online service to view the contents – surely there is an easier way to extract the contents of a *.wpress file…?

    Thanks for your reply Borislav,

I agree with nampara17, it’s not every practical to do that with large website backups.

Is there any way I can do that in my own machine?

The application is working in your browser on your own machine. The file is not being uploaded to our servers.

You don’t need internet to use the application.

I don’t really see the point of this preview tool, all you can see if the files structure, there’s no way to actually extract any specific files.

What we really need is someway of extracting the archive.

Hello, i paid for unlimited version, I have export file ( 6 gb) and when i try to import my website to new server, ( it takes arounf 14 hours) at the end when i see ” Your data has been imported succesfully!” – nothing happend. What should i do ?

https://traktor.servmask.com/ doesn’t work. It seems to extract everything but when you click on the database folder it disappears instead of opening up. I am trying to look into a file containing text that was lost from my website. Ideas ?

I’m seeing the same thing as john85331. Clicking on a file in the browser window makes the file “disappear”. I also don’t see all of the files in the file structure (like wp-config.php for example). It would be nice to extract certain files as need without having to do a full blown import again.
