How do I add another category or taxonomy box that uses select boxes?

Hi there,

So I was able to add a new taxonomy for my blog posts with this plugin. However, it seems to only show up in the same format as adding tags (separated by commas). I want the admin to be able to simply check the box for the appropriate “room” (i.e. bathroom, kitchen, etc) as opposed to having to type it in themselves. The UI for “rooms” would look exactly like the default category selector for the posts. Is this possible?
