How do I assign things to menus in fifteen

  • Hi, I am trying to assign the articles I write to different menus on my site as well as appearing in the home page. I do not know how to do this. My menu bar contains the following : Home About Me State by State Uk & Beyond

    currently all my posts go to the main page which is what I want them to do but I also want them to appear in lets say State by State and in State by State I would like to be able to have all 50 states listed and put each posting into the state that is relevant. Can I do this? if so how?

    I will guess that the answer will be the same for UK and Beyond I just need to get the posting there not dividing into countries

  • It sounds like you could accomplish this using Categories and the Custom Menu.

    Try creating categories for each state, then apply those categories to the appropriate posts. Then, within Appearance > Menus add the categories to your menu as secondary menu items for “State by State.”

    Thanks it helped not really I how would have liked but it allowed me to change some stuff to make your idea work
