• I’ve modified a theme from another one, but now I wan’t to change the theme’s preview image in the WordPress Theme Changer. How do I change the theme’s image?

*I’ve already changed the details in the style.css.

  • Take a screenshot… shrink it… upload it into the theme folder.

yeah, but then how does it link to the image. Do I have to name it something special like “screenshot.jpg”?

So, WHY don’t go and take a look at the existing themes and see what the image name (and extension) should be?

The image that appears in my current theme is not located in the theme’s folder. It must be an external link.

I doubt that… However, don’t look at your “current theme (whatever that is). Look always at Classic and Default, the two themes that come with every downloaded WP package.
