    How do I change my forum username or delete my forum account?

    Short answer: you can’t.

    If you want to use a different username, just create a new account and let the old one remain inactive.

    I just don’t want my email address advertised everytime I make a post, for some reason I entered it in error as the username, hence the display name.

    Ah! Now your display name I can fix for you – especially as an email address is sensitive information. ??

    How’s that look now? You’ll still need to login using your original username but it will no longer be displayed in posts.

    Yes. Anyone who doesn’t have the non-standard title of Member will almost certainly have admin/mod status but some of us are more actively involved the forum than a couple of the others might be – eg core dev(eloper)s. Core devs are way too busy working on the next version of WordPress. ??

    Your earlier topic is plugin-specific and I’m afraid I don’t have any direct experience with Event Calendar myself. I’ve moved it to the Plugins forum to give some extra traction and tagged it appropriately for you. However, it could just be a theme CSS issue, so I’ve asked for more details.

    I have to log off for an hour or so now but I’ll be back in again soon.

    I’m actually having the same display name problem. I used my email as my user name. Big mistake. Ever since I’ve posted I’ve been receiving spam to my email address. Anyway I can change my username or display name? Just the display name change would be perfectly adequate.
