How do I change site paths with no 404 error?

  • So I just changed paths of a couple from:
    mydomain.com/main/site1/

    to:

    mydomain.com/site1/

    I’m getting for 404 error when I go to the admin for the latter address. Is there a way to set my new path and have this work, because I have no option to use this address when I first create a new site? How do I do this?

    Any help is appreciated.
