How do I change the banner image?

    I want to change the banner image to a photo of mine. The only thing I can find that looks right is under customize>widgets>banner but then instead of being to insert an image I can only add another widget???? And none of the choices allow me to put a new banner image into the existing ones place. The options I am given are: Akismet widget, Archives, Calendar, Categories, Custom Menu, Meta, Pages, Recent Comments, Recent Posts, RSS, Search, Tag Cloud, Text. Why are all these options under the banner widget, seems cumbersome. All I want to do is change the image, any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi There,

    Please use the following steps to fix your issue:
    Go to Dashboard=> Appearance=> Widget=> Banner=> Then put the Text Widget inside the banner widget=> After that please use the image url inside the content but use the image url like this
    <img src"Image url here"/>
    Then save it.

    Hi,

    Okay I did this, and I put in the link of the photo I wanted from my iCloud Drive. It didn’t work. Can I not do this or is there a service in which I can put my photos a url or can I just upload them into the widget? How do I found out the size of the banner image that was there before so I can match it?

    Hi There,

    Could you please mention the link of your site. And Firstly upload the image in Media Library and select the image where you can find image url in right side of image, then copy the url and paste in the widget same as which we have provided to you above. And regarding the width and height, you can manage with the css also or you can use like this also in the widget
    <img src=”Image url” alt=”image name” width=”100%” height=”50%”/> and regarding iCloud Drive, could you please explain more about it.

    I would like to have the banner image only on the Home or Front page, not on all the other pages. I can’t seem to find how to remove it from the other pages. If anyone can help me, I would greatly appreciate it.
