Jetpack grabbed a sponsor icon as the open graph image for Facebook and other social media. I want it to grab the icon I uploaded. Is there a way to force the change? My client is not happy that another business is showing up when she inserts her url into Facebook.

    Help!!!

    Thank you,
    Debbie

Actually I meant to say sponsor logo, not icon.

    Jetpack Mechanic ??

You can change the Open Graph Image tag used on the home page by adding a Site Icon to your site, under Appearance > Customize > Site Identity in your dashboard.

Another alternative would be to follow this tutorial:

I did add a site icon, but then found that exact article that you linked to and fixed it. Thank you. Another thing that might be mentioned in that article, for folks who run into this same issue is that I had to go to FB developer debugger and rescrape the site after I fixed it.

I’m not sure why adding the site icon didn’t work, I am using a child theme, but that shouldn’t make any difference. Anyway, thank you!
