How do I change the renewal email timing?

This code recipe should help get you started (https://gist.github.com/andrewlimaza/4718abaadd408f081ed4b16aaa169afa#file-change-recurring-payment-reminder-php). It will remove the 7 day reminder and add in a 14 day reminder (which you can change to a 21 day reminder instead).

Thanks for the quick reply. I actually mis-typed as I should have said expiring, rather than recurring. Would it be okay to change the code to this:

    $emails[21] = 'membership_expiring';

Would this target the Membership Expiring emails instead?

Not a problem! That change would just send the membership_expiring template to the reminder emails.
