    Hello,
I need to change the ‘Your location’ text but i have WPML installed. WPML string translation doesn’t allow you to change original strings anymore. Is there a filter/function or some other way to this? Deactivating WPML is not an option and I already know how to translate pages/stores/cats already.

    Thanks again

‘WPML string translation doesn’t allow you to change original strings anymore’. I’m not aware of this. What’s the WPML version your using?

It might be better to ask WPML about this since the strings translation is what’s used to translate the whole plugin, so if they changed something, then there must be an alternative somewhere in the WMPL itself to do so.

Here is a screenshot of what i mean https://ibb.co/K0r7TNx. The original strings can only be translated, not changed.

Changing the original string itself requires you to edit the language files in the languages folder with a tool like Poedit.

Perfect thanks. I have one other question. I only have about 4 stores, in 4 different countries. Is there a way to show all stores if there are none that are in the country that you are in?

There’s no good way to do that at the moment.

The next update will have an option to show the nearest location if no results are found, but this won’t fix this now.

If you only have 4 stores in total, then maybe just show them all together on the map with the [wpsl_map] shortcode? It doesn’t have a search option, but it will make it clear where they are located.
