How do I chose a Page I created?

    I’m using WP 2.0.4 with a purchased template.

    I wanted a Page with no sidebar. I created one by copying my index and just deleting the call for the sidebar. It’s uploaded and showing in my template files.

    I presumed I would just go to Write Page and chose that new template. All I see, though, is my default page, the contacts page and the about page that came with my template package.

    Did I not include something in the template creation that causes it to be recognized?
