I am basically trying to create a front page like the demo picture of this theme. i.e a full width picture under the header followed by the three column foother.

I can’t find any options in the theme customization link/menu to achieve this.

I am a newbie to WordPress and websites etc so don’t know anything about coding. Is the above achievable without coding?

    Thanks

  • Hi there!

You can create a theme like the screenshot without any coding. You need to play with the Customizer options and the Page Builder to get the look of that site. Unfortunately, there is no easy way to just make it look like that site. You have to actually set it up with the options in the theme.

thanks, I have been playing around with the page builder/customization options for the last few days but haven’t yet found a way to do this… any help would be appreciated!

    Hi there!

We can certainly answer specific questions about things that are tripping you up, but guiding you through the whole build process would be quite involved. Is there anything in particular that is giving you troubles.

We’ve also got some Quick start templates available in Make Plus, that will make it easier to get started with a page design.

Hi, in particular I just need to know how to make my image stretch across the whole page i.e. end to end right under the header, e.g. exactly like the picture with the house in this link

?? not sure buying Make Plus is the answer as I need to get the basics clear first

    Hello, not yet resolved.

Per my query (right above your post), that’s specifically what I am trying to do.

    thanks

    Hey there!

That house image is a Banner section with 1 slide and a background image and no text.
