How do I create an anchor and have it linked from an outside page

How are you trying to do it now?

Hi, I inserted this code:
<div id=”EXAMPLEanchor”>?The content of your div here?</div>
and then tried the link as:
https://www.mydomain.com#EXAMPLEanchor and
https://www.mydomain.com#EXAMPLEanchor_div

but the link goes to https://www.mydomain.com, not to the anchor.

I’ve done the same thing myself in the past, and it’s a simple mistake to make.

What you need to do is set up an anchor link point:
<a name="anchor1">Anchor Here</a>
And link to that as
https://www.mtsite/com/page#anchor1
