We sell hundreds of products, but I want every product on a page with other products.

How do I find out which products are not on a page. Ideally I’d like to know which page every product is on.

    Hello zulubahshee?

Thank you for contacting WooCommerce support.

Could you please explain your requirements a little bit more?
    Providing examples will be helpful.

Normally, when there are hundreds of products, they are assigned different Categories. For example, all shoes are assigned the Product Category “Shoes” and that category page only shows shoe products.

This also helps in managing products and you can easily check which products are assigned which categories. Thus you know which page will show which products.

Feel free to share more details so I can guide you accordingly.
I look forward to your response. ??

    Best regards.

We do not put use category pages to display products. We use the shortcode inserted into regular pages:
    [products ids=”4364,2581″]

We currently have about 650 products spread over dozens of pages.

REQUIREMENT: We need every product to be on a page.

A number of people have been adding products over the years and have not been consistent about putting them on a page with shortcode.

We need to to find out which products are NOT on a page and put them on a page.

I need an automated way of doing this. If it can only be done with SQL this is OK too.

    Thanks!

    Hey, @zulubahshee!

From what I understand, please correct me if I’m wrong, what you have on your website is several different shop pages with some products on it added via shortcode, correct?

And you want to know which products are not added on any pages. Unfortunately it is not possible to check automatically if there are products that are not added to a shortcode on any page.

I understand you currently do not use categories on the site, but that would be what we recommend to organize the products on separate shop pages. By using categories, you would be able to easily check if a product is not under any category on the Products page and once you add a category to it it would automatically be added to the page.

You can find more about this in this guide.

I hope this was clarifying. If you face any issues or have any questions, please let us know so we can assist you further.

    Have a wonderful day!
