How Do I Disable Comment Form on Property Pages?

Depends on the theme. Which theme?

Basically your single-listing.php or single.php file has a comment function. Every theme is different nut easy enough to find.

The default template for the single-listing.php file is here. All you would do is comment out the following code to remove the comments.

Add the single-listing.php file to your theme.

comments_template(); // include comments template

Novice questions: Do I need to copy the “single-listing.php” to the theme’s directory? Is there anything else I need to do (run a script to register the file etc) to “add” this file to the theme?

No need to register the single-listing.php its automatic. Just copy to your theme/child theme folder and it is used.
