How do I disable Comments Evolved on a per-page basis?

  • I want to shut off ALL the ways for a person to comment for a page but I can’t with this plugin. The comments evolved still shows up on a page that I specifically turned off comments via the page options. How do you turn off all possible ways for a person to comment on a page by page or even by a per-post basis? Is this a known bug? I don’t need comments on my contact page. It’s a form on a page so there’s no need to have comments. Same with the privacy policy. Very irritating to have disqus, facebook, etc… comments on a page where I don’t want there to be any.

    Can you add a checkbox on every page that says Disable Comments Evolved?

    Mine does not display Comments Evolved when comments are turned off, but it does show the WordPress comment box no matter what tab is selected. That is a minor glitch for me but the checkbox idea would be great if you have specific posts you want to enable it for and those you do not, like comments by roles! I could probably use that!
