• I am using a Twenty Fifteen Child theme in a sandbox for development of a responsive site. It is important that the site’s tagline be displayed at all times. However, once the display is reduced for a phone-sized mobile device (or a narrow browser window), my site’s tagline is hidden from the header. I have searched for a solution, and I have tried style.css changes, but I have been unsuccessful in showing the tagline in narrower displays.

Could someone please point me to a solution?

    Thanks in advance,
    Ronny

  • If I am understanding correctly, what you are after is on line 1328 of the stylesheet.

.site-description is receiving a display:none. Removing this style will allow the tagline to always be visible

Thank you. That solved my problem. I knew it would be a simple change, but I could not find the correct “thing” to change.
