• Hi

    I’m running this site: https://www.butzisquared.com/

I want to rearrange the front page, so the two columns under the top post get divided into one column with featured articles (the ones in the top navigation) and one column with short news.

Does anyone know how to do that with the Hueman theme? And could I, as an alternative, put short news into a right hand side bar?

Also, while I’m at it, I can’t for the life of me figure out hos to remove the text “FOLLOW:” on top of the left hand side bar. Any help?

    Thanks,

    EoE

When asking questions specific to a theme, it is best to ask it in the forum for that theme. There the developers and users familiar with that theme will be better able to answer your question. The support forum for the Hueman theme can be found here:

Most themes would allow you to put the standard WordPress text widget in the sidebar, where you could put whatever you wish.

As for the FOLLOW that is probably a question for the Hueman forum as well.

If you want two columns you’d need to overhaul your homepage to have two loops, one for Featured articles and one for Short news, then style them with CSS to sit side by side.

To remove the Follow box, you can just turn it off in Appearance->Theme Options->Sidebars
