How do i edit my homepage???

What exactly to you want to “edit”? If you want to set your home page for your blog to a sub page (an existing page in WordPress?) you need to go to your admin page, then under “Settings->Reading” select the “Static Page” option and in the drop down select the page you want to be your home page.

I think what he wants to know is how do you get the summary of your blogs showing up on the front page of WP… so your latest blog entry is at teh top and it has the title with the sumamry, then the previous one is below that etc etc

well my home page is inaccessable and when you go the the site it says not found. i dont have anything on my homepage yet. thanx again.

That isn’t a whole lot of help. Where did you install WordPress? Please post your URL so we can try to help you. If you are trying to have a home page that isn’t part of WordPress, then I am sorry but you are in the wrong place. This forum is for help with WordPress. If you want WordPress to be your “home page”, then you need to install wordpress in your root web hosting folder. Can you get to your blog at all?

well actually someone did it for me . my page is .www.aptsbynicole.com an all my editing is in word press if you go to my page you will see the ame not found i can edit every other page but my home parent page.

isn’t that the page that shows up when you havn’t posted anything yet?
