How do I edit the Main Page of my website

I have a website built by someone I hired to do so. It had no “home” page, although it has a menu button as though it did. So I created a “home” page. Now I have 2 “home” pages. I want to make the “Main Page” look like my “Home” page and eliminate the duplication or just remove the second “home” page without losing the content I have on it, moving it to the “Main Page”.
